BATMAN GANA TAQUILLA AMERICANA POR CUARTA SEMANA CONSECUTIVA

CRÓNICAS EL NUEVO DISCO DE JUAN FRANCISCO ZERPA

El pasado Jueves 07 de agosto en el prestigioso local de Caracas Moulin Rouge Pub & Bar a la 1pm el joven talento venezolano Juan Francisco Zerpa ofreció una rueda de prensa para presentar formalmente su cuarta producción discográfica “Crónicas”. Juan Francisco Zerpa es un cantautor venezolano con tres producciones musicales editadas de manera independiente en el mercado musical de su país. Además de ser cantante y compositor, es baterista. Estudió canto con la reconocida cantante lírica norteamericana Janice Williams, con quien también realizó cursos de Actuación y Blues. Ha hecho incontables presentaciones en diversos escenarios de Caracas, Miami, Bogotá y Madrid, así como presentaciones en televisión. También ha incursionado con éxito en varias obras musicales, exhibidas en importantes teatros de Caracas. En el año 1999 edita su primer CD, titulado “Juan Francisco”, bajo la producción de Guillermo Carrasco. En el año 2001 edita su segunda producción en solitario: un EP (extended play) de 4 temas titulado “Ecos”. A principios de 2004 concluye la grabación de su tercera placa que lleva por nombre “Lejos de aquí”, material que en el año 2005 es lanzado al mercado musical y que contiene canciones influenciadas por el blues y el rock alternativo y en el que además participa como productor musical. En junio de 2008 sale al mercado un CD recopilatorio titulado “Crónicas”, que incluye sus mejores temas y tres canciones inéditas. Ha participado en cuatro compilados musicales: “El solar de los desconocidos” (año 2000), “CAUTION: Music Zone” (año 2004), “Atracciones de Otoño ‘05” (año 2005) y “Sonogram” (año 2006), estos tres últimos editados en Miami por la reconocida revista de Rock Alternativo Latino ¡BOOM! Magazine. También fue el ganador del premio Mar de Plata Internacional como cantante masculino revelación del año en 1998. Desde este año 2008 es miembro de la Academia Latina de las Ciencias y las Artes de la Grabación. CRONICA THE NEW RECORD BY JUAN FRANCISCO

On Thursday 07 August at the prestigious local in Caracas Moulin Rouge Pub & Bar to 1pm young talent Venezuelan Juan Francisco Zerpa gave a press conference to formally present its fourth album "Crónicas". Juan Francisco Zerpa is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter with three musical productions released independently in the music market in his country. Besides being a singer and composer, is drummer.
